For Chad's birthday this year I decided to throw him a themed party. I really haven't thrown many parties in the three years we have been married, mainly because we didn't live near many of our friends. Since we have been in New Orleans we have made a good many friends in a short amount of time so it was fun to have everyone over. I decided on the Great Gatsby/speakeasy theme since that is one of Chad's favorite books and a speakeasy would be fun for everyone to dress up for. We instructed everyone to come in the back door and give the password for admittance. I made a ton of food and we mixed 1920's era cocktails. Everyone looked great in their costumes. The speakeasy party was a lot of fun! Thank you again for inviting us. I'm looking forward to many more partied with you guys in the months and years to come.
